Success & ABILITY Magazine

Introduction and History

Success & ABILITYwas not Ability Foundation’s first foray into the world of persons with disability, it was also a groundbreaking cross-disability quarterly magazine beginning at a time when there were none such in India and it has continued to be a vital voice of inclusion and acceptance in India for over 25 years. Launched in October 1995, , Success & ABILITY was conceived as a platform to challenge stereotypes and bridge the gap between disabled and non-disabled communities. It has grown from a humble two-color print publication, then a d vibrant four-color magazine, expanding from quarterly to monthly issues, and evolving from a print-only format to include an audio edition. Today, Success & ABILITYcontinues to innovate, as a digital magazine, offering its content as a podcast, in Indian Sign Language, and as an online read, reaching a diverse and wide-ranging global audience.

No one seems to know when this will end. Amidst this ambiguity, the world as we know it seems to have all but disappeared.
