Youngest among eight siblings, Babli was born with her arms half-formed, her elbow joint missing, and some fingers fused. Babli’s father, who recognized the potential within her, encouraged her to develop the use of her hands to achieve maximum dexterity and control. Today, Babli is a beautician running her own beauty salon and in her own words \u201cbeautifying the faces of several women using these very hands\u201d. What began as a modest setup with a single chair and mirror, offering basic beauty services, has today, through relentless hard work, transformed into a flourishing beauty parlour offering top-notch services. Beyond her personal accomplishments, this 57-year-old powerhouse provides employment opportunities to numerous young girls and inspires them to reach their fullest potential.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    “Never be scared of challenges and never let people dishearten your goals,” advises Babli, encapsulating the essence of her journey.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Over the years, she has clinched more than 15 awards, including 14 Nationals and one International accolade, a testament to her indomitable spirit. Not just the CavinKare Ability Mastery Award in 2011, her remarkable journey was further acknowledged in 2013 when President Pranab Mukherjee felicitated her with the “Outstanding Creative Adult Person Award (female)” during the National Awards for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in New Delhi. In 2014, she received the “Women Pride Award” from Ms. Madhuri Dixit and Novelist Shobha De. Most recently, in 2023, Babli was honoured with the Dr. Sarojini Naidu International Award, and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also felicitated her in Ratlam. She has since been appointed as the brand ambassador of “Swachh Survekshan 2023” by Jaora Municipality. Recognized as one of India’s 100 Inspiring Women in 2023, Babli’s story became part of the initiative showcasing the nation’s most inspiring women, conceived by Fox Story India.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Today, Babli Gambhir has ventured into the realm of public speaking to yet again challenge herself and emerge a winner. Despite initial insecurities with the English language, she has been shortlisted among the top 500 contestants for Super Speaker Season 3, a reality show by Success Gyan. This is a significant milestone for someone eager to conquer her linguistic apprehensions, challenging herself to become a proficient speaker and break new ground.
